Les-
The lead singer for the group, is 69
years old and was born in Pontiac,
Michigan and raised in Thompsonville,
IL. Les served for about 3 years in
Southeastern Asia with Military
Intelligence. He has been in full-time
evangelism since 1976. Before that he
served: SBC in Greenville, KY, FBC in
Springfield, IL and FBC in West
Frankfort, IL, as Music/Education/Youth
Minister. He also served several other
churches before that time. Les has a BA
from the University of Maryland and a
Master's Degree in Education from
Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. If

Sandy (mom)- Sorry do you really
think I'm brave enough to give mom's
age!? Seriously, she is the glue that
holds it all together. Over the year's
we've left her at
home with all the work while we've
traveled. Although she does not
receive much credit for what she does,
we know she is a blessing from God. Mom
deserves an award just for being an
evangelist's wife for all these years.
Mom doesn't like to travel (at least she
doesn't like to travel with us!). But
she has been known to spend some time in
Florida with us when we go if it's cold
here at home.

Chris- sings first tenor, is 39
and was born in Greenville, KY. He is a
graduate of Liberty University in
Lynchburg, VA with a degree in Church
Ministries. He was married on December
19, 1998 to Ellen Davis of Dowell, IL.
Ellen is a first grade school teacher at DuQuoin Christian Fellowship.
Chris and Ellen have a son, Clay, who
was born on February 11th, 2001 and a
daughter, Natalie, who was born on May
10th, 2003. If you

Sons of The Father began singing
together in 1989. Their first concert was held on
a farm! They sang for a 4th of July Singles
Celebration for Bellvue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.

Sandy was raised in Tennessee. She had 4 sisters
and 1 brother. 2 sisters are still living and all
live near Lexington, TN.
